I designed this class for the beginner who has never touched a gun or has very limited knowledge and experience about handguns. Students will learn basic knowledge and skills of handguns. The purpose of this class is to teach new handgun owners how to manipulate their handgun safely and effectively so that they can transfer those skills to a live shooting environment.  It is very hands-on and is taught in a progressive manner leading up to the basic functions of loading, unloading and some of the fundamentals of shooting. The goal is for you to feel confident in your ability to handle your firearm safely. 

There are 4 spots allocated for this class. You can bring your own personal firearm, but you CAN NOT bring live ammunition into the classroom. I will inspect and unload your personal gun prior to and periodically during the class. 

What’s Covered: 
Gun Safety, Safe handling & manipulation, Loading & Unloading, Types of Handguns and their parts, Cycle of operations of handguns, Ammunition, Shooting fundamentals and Cleaning of the gun. 

WHAT TO BRING:
-Great attitude
-Your personal firearms and one magazine(clip), If you have one, but not required. 

(NO LIVE AMMUNITION ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM). 
-Notebook and pen (However, they will be provided in the classroom).
